Accounting Lead
Under general direction, applies general accounting principles to the preparation and analysis of accounting statements, including revenue recognition and expense accruals. Reconciles accounts and analyzes accounting transactions to identify correcting entries. Interacts with and makes presentations to management, customers, and peers regarding financial results, issues, and accounting alternatives/solutions to business problems. Researches Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) requirements and interprets the impact on COMPANY' financial statements. Assists accountants in the application of COMPANY' accounting policies and procedures. Identifies internal control weaknesses and audit concerns and recommends solutions to management.
Language requirements:
o Japanese – able to communicate fluently with the business and finance teams in Japanese
o English – fluent in writing and speaking
Qualification:
• accounting experience in Japanese companies is required
• Sun System experience is a plus
• minimum 1-2 years of experience in leading a team of 3 to 4 accountants
