It is very unlikely to happen again today. No one can afford to turn the country around and go back to the old path. It would take years if not decades to remedy the damaged credibility if foreign firms were nationalized again! Besides there would be a heavy price to pay for such irresponsible action. I just could not imagine such a scenario. I believe in globalization, co-dependence, and mutual benefits. Taking Russia situation for an instance, so far no confiscation of foreign companies was ever heard but now and then a few local ceos were thrown in jail or gunned down by the Russian mafia.
