ESG Brand Manager – MJD

Responsibility :
1. Deliver/exceed the quarterly ESG business targets of assigned segment in terms of Server Unit, ESG Revenue & Margin for FY07
2. Product lifecycle management for assigned product line.
3. Develop and implement marketing plans, including both demand generation and sales program, and interlock with other functions to ensure the effectiveness of marketing programs and program deliverables
4. Weekly communication with sales team on segment ESG financial performance & ESG program support
5. Work with COC and Marketing Ops to develop monthly promotional plan and ensure flawless execution on the Sales floor
6. Develop sales tools and deliver training to sales & customers.


Requirement:
• 6 – 8 years working experiences in product management and product marketing in IT industry
• Knowledge of enterprise product/technology is an added advantage
• Self-motivated, passionate, and a good team work player
• Bachelor degree on Science. Degree in MBA or Master Degree would be preferable
• Willing to work hard, some travel
• Demonstrated career success, esp in the areas of teamwork and product management
• Exceptional written or verbal communication skills

Marketing Marcom Manager II – SR

Position Summary

Primary responsibility of this role is to manage Dell's marketing programs and marcom activities in Industry Solutions Group in the China.

The Marketing Programs Manager will plan & execute a wide scope of marketing activities with his/ her primary focus on demand generation for the said segment.

Working closely with the brand team and the sales team, the incumbent will support the achievement of quarterly and yearly financial objective for individual product line as well as that of the sales team.

Principal Responsibilities

1. Responsible for generating demand for Industry Solutions Group in China where the incumbent will need to deliver revenue targets and ROI goals as well as to support the financial achievement of the company
2. Responsible for quarterly marketing programs and marcom plans for product lines as well as defined segment.
3. Responsible for execution of programs and marcom activities, covering customer targetting, DM, fax blasts, eDM, Plays, Sales collaterals, joint program with key vendors, direct model advocacy &other marcom activities that are primarily relevant to demand generation
4. Supervise a small team of marketing specialists which carry out day to day operations
o Delivery of value propositions
o Vendors/ suppliers management
o Sales and Brand team engagement
o Project planning & follow-up
o Ensure compliance to guideline and processes
o Tracking of demand generation results
o Marcom calendar/ progress/ tracking reports
o Budget & expense control


Essential Qualifications:
• Programs Marketing or Marketing communication experience
• Degree holder, preferably w/ an MBA
• Minimum 6-7 years work experience, preferably in the IT industry and w/ MNC experience
• Excellent marketing execution and planning skills
• Good leadership skill with at least 1 years leading a team
• Aggressive and driven to achieve business results, with strong business and financial acumen
• Strong marketing conceptual and creative skills coupled with excellent written and verbal communication/ presentation skills
• Excellent inter-personal skills to work with various departments to achieve results
• Must have good command of both English and Chinese (Mandarin), spoken or written

Desirable:
• Strategic marketing skills
• General product marketing and sales experience would be a plus
• At least 1 year experience as people manager

Senior Brand Marketing Manager – YP

Responsibility:
Primary responsibility of this role is to manage Dell Desktop Products in China/Hong Kong commerical sales channels (Government, Education, Large Corporate Accounts, SMB). The role incorporates all aspects of local product marketing and sales support with an objective to deliver quarterly product financial goals.

1. Developquarterly marketing plan and carry out to deliver quarterly product financial targets.
o Fully accountable for desktop financials for China & HK’s Gov, Edu, Large corporate sectors and SMB market
o Identify key market opportunities and business drivers (both internal & external) by diligent market analysis and working closely with sales and management team.
o Develop quarterly marketing plan that help that focus on development and closure of those key opportunities or challenges.
o Coordinate with management and functional teams to get required resources and supports
o Lead desktop brand team to workclosely with sales and other function teams to execute quarterly sales|marketing activities (eg. telemarketing activities, Direct mail, plays and email plays, etc)
o Keep tracking of the sales|marketing program result for constant improvement.
o Responsible for quarterly product business review to management team

2. Provide day to day sales support of internal and external sales team;
o Provide timely feedback to sales management team from desktop business perspective
o Work closely with the sales teams to identify opportunities and to assist in pursuing these opportunities
o Develop and distribute key marketing messaging,
o Product questions, lead times, and launch activities,
o Training, Competitive info communication, Telemarketing Program, Relationship Play execution
o Assist in large bid

3. Responsiblebrand management operation tasks related to the Desktopproducts;
o Ensure right product mix by close product portfolio management
o Develop customized product value proposition for major market
o Develop effective product sales tools and collaterals
o Ensure effective new product introduction activities are in place
o Desktop product Supply/ demand management
o Guidance and competitive input to regional price position discussions
o Work with regional product team to manage product transition
o Work with regional product team to resolve local product/ price positioning issues and product gap issue.

4. Others:
o Active in presenting Desktop products to customers
o Acting as a product knowledge champion for the desktop product line
o People management: manage a brand team of 5


Requirement:
Must Have Skills or Technique Knowledge:
• Degree in a related discipline (Business, Computer)
• Minimum 5 years industry experience in sales role or product marketing role with solid track record
• Strong analysis skills coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skill and organizational skill
• Proven presentation skills
• People management experience
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin)

Would Love to have Skills:
• MBA degree is preferable
• Broad knowledge of the China desktop or notebook marketplace
• Sales management experience
• Cantonese speaker

PC Brand Marketing Manager II – AEB



Position summary:

Primary responsibility of this role is to manage Dell product in a specified sales channel that covers Public and Corporate sector for both China and Hong Kong.

The role incorporates all aspects of local product marketing activities and sales support with an objective to deliver quarterly product financial goals in focus segment. This role will report into Desktop Brand Team Leader.

Principal responsibilities:

o Develop quarterly marketing plan to deliver quarterly product financial targets
§ Fully accountable for desktop financials for focus sales segment
§ Identify key market opportunities and business drivers
§ Develop and execute quarterly sales & marketing activities as part of plan
§ Work with management and functional teams for required resources
§ Monitor and report on program results
§ Responsible for quarterly product business review to management team
§ Support quarterly planning, outlook, and recovery plan & action
§ Review daily and weekly metrics and develop action plans to address issues in the business
o Demand generation for sales segment
§ Engage with Sales and Marcom team for effective demand generation programs
§ Daily engagement with sales teams to understand customer requirements
§ Manage pricing and promotion to optimize demand and profitability
§ Manage supply / demand accurately to ensure no gap outs or excess
§ Develop tools and training material to help sales close orders and increase upsell
o Daily Sales Support
§ Responsible for daily support of internal and external sales representatives
§ Engage sales teams to identify & close opportunities
§ Escalation and resolution of supply / demand issues
§ Bid review assistance and guidance
o Analyse market and business trends for opportunities

Requirement:

Transaction Marcom Manager

Responsible for the development, leadership and administration of Transactional marcom function in Relationship Business segment. Lead the quarterly planning process with other key marketing teams and agency to meet transaction business goals

Drive decisions on operational execution through the rigorous analysis of key business metrics to achieve financial objectives and build tactical recovery / stretch plans as required. Be marcom champion for transaction business within relationship segment

Specifically, this candidate will
• Lead (call / traffic) performance across Marcom vehicles - DM, media, online
• Responsible for overall Marcom budget and deliver to financial objectives within budget allocation
• Establish overall marcom quarterly plan / stretch targets and drive to flawless execution
• Optimize on media planning and implementation with REL and HSB teams
• Scale efficiency through optimization of spend on most effective marcom vehicles
• Drive enhancements to messaging, offers, targeting &creative execution
• Responsible for management of marketing agency and other vendors, including negotiation on costings etc.
• Work closely with brand, marketing operations and sales leaders to ensure consistent execution to meet financial objectives
• Ensure full marcom compliance and adherence to vendor requirements and Dell internal requirements

Preferred candidate will have the following qualifications:
• Prior work experience in advertising, online marketing or analytical position. 5+ years
• Experience of cross-vehicle transactional marketing and direct business models preferred.
• Strong business, leadership and analytical skills
• Strong strategic skills
• Team builder/ motivator
• Excellent organizational, planning and project management skills to manage multiple agencies/internal partners
• Strong drive for results
• Very strong English skills (reading&writing). Traditional Chinese reading&writing an advantage
A minimum of Bachelors degree, preferred in business, marketing, or related field. MBA will be beneficial.
