Role Background
This role combines deep industry knowledge, senior relationship building skillsand a solutions-based, consultative-selling approach to deliver client basedrevenue and sales growth. The major goal is to focus on retention of existingclients and the current revenue streams, building new revenue streams throughthe expansion of Solutions, and enhanced client satisfaction.The role includes collaborating with client and virtual teams to research,shape, and drive solution engagements from identification to close at both newand existing accounts across China. By combining these competencies with strongthought leadership, this role defines and executes an effective business planinvolving the sale of complex software solutions.
Responsibilities
· Leverages the above details, and knowledge of 's core competencies in analytics, softwaredevelopment and data management to build highly credible relationships withassigned client group(s).
· Supports the sales team with lead qualification, presentations, proposals,sales strategies, and competitive information;
· Researches and shapes potential solution opportunities through collaborativediscussions with product, Enterprise Decision Management Technology andtechnical leaders.
· Develops a deep understanding of existing client product or solutionengagements and how the proposed solution relates;
· Delivers 's Enterprise DecisionManagement and solution overviews to clients;
· Generates ideas to increase opportunity scope;
· Conducts short consultancy engagements with clients to assist the sales teamin identifying growth opportunities;
· Provides continuing education of the sales team for 's solutions;
· Consults regularly with product management and product development team onclient requirements, market and pricing issues, and product enhancements;
· Works with Product Management to 'productize' some portion of custom workthat is repeatable and has IP that may be packaged in the form of a product;
· Develops deep industry and competitive knowledge in a given business area anddisseminates this information throughout the sales team.
Skills & Experience
· Bachelor degree or above, major in CS, Data Mining, Analytics etc.
· Minimum 3-5 years of experience
· Must have strong analytics knowledge, must have scorecard experience, baselII knowledge strongly desired
· Familiarity with decision management software or rule engine a strong plus;banking IT foundational Knowledge a strong plus
· Familiarity or experience on retail banking business strategy a strong plus
· Must have strong communication and presentation skill
· Fluent both in English and Chinese
· Possesses deep consultative selling experience and executive relationships inrelevant industry (e.g., financial services) preferably with an emphasis in thetechnology or decision science arena.
· Consultative selling experience in financial services preferably with anemphasis in one of the credit lifecycle areas;
· Ability to craft compelling a high-level client business case;
· Direct experience in selling solutions which either significantly expand thefootprint of existing product offerings or bundle products into a largersolution sale
· Expert understanding of market trends and specific needs/issues of targetclients coupled with the demonstrated capacity to establish linkages betweenthese needs and 's product/servicesolutions
· Entrepreneurial style, drive and sense of urgency, coupled with the abilityto work well with others as part of a solution team;
· Excellent communication, professional presentation, andprocess/organisational skills, as well as strong creative orientation and theability to craft innovative solutions;
· Ability to travel significantly (>50%)
