Hi, I'm newly joining the gang and has been really enjoyed all the discussion here.
I have a question regarding my first trading experience happened lately.
I have met some friends in California who want me to help out to buy some product components & accessories from China. I have ordered several times for different samples and it somehow works wells by far. Thus, I believe it's time for me to formally strike a contract with the buyers. However, I have some questions in the following:
1) I know there is a huge gross margin (20-60 times in the samples I ordered) for the buyers. In this case, how much should I charge for my part of work as a company which manages all China side (production, logistics, exporting, etc.)? Is there a norm in this area as a reference?
2) How should the charge goes? I intend to ask for all payments from the buyers once the order is confirmed. Is that the right approach?
3) Are there other things that I should pay attention to for the contract?
Thanks for all the input.
